What can you do to support the children in your setting with SEND? Can all children achieve and make progress if the teaching and learning steps are small enough?
This practical training shows how subtle yet effective changes can make learning easier for a child with SEN or disability and will support you with goals, targets, IEPs and EHCP requests.
By the end of this workshop you will:
- Understand why children with SEN/D benefit from a small step approach to teaching
- Know how to identify learning priorities and how to support learning at home
- Have learnt how to break teaching tasks and sequencing objectives down into small teaching steps
